Religious School

This is not like the Hebrew School you remember! Kids LIKE being here and they WANT to participate. With the guidance of our Rabbi, area collegiate educators, and congregational volunteers, Temple B’nai Abraham’s religious school brings together studies of all ages for interactive Judaic learning.

Our students come from a wide variety of schools in the area, including Avon, Grafton, Lorain, Medina, Oberlin, and even as far away as Port Clinton! TBA is their home away from home where they can connect to other Jewish kids on the Westside of Cleveland.
Our students learn and prepare for these Jewish milestones:
  • Consecration
  • Bar/Bat Mitzvah
  • Confirmation

Our religious school educates and guides children along their path to lifelong Jewish learning and pride. We explore:

  • Jewish holidays and rituals
  • Religious prayer and services
  • Judaic teachings
  • Tikkun Olam (repairing the world)
  • Tzedakah (charity)
  • Israel
  • Hebrew language
